These Config Files are provided to assist with setting up basic PtP or PmP Links. There are 2 files needed per link.
For Point to Mulitpoint operation:
USA_ALTUM_PmP_AP file for the AP Side (local)
USA_ALTUM_PmP_STA file for the Station Side (remote)
For Point to Point operation:
USA_ALTUM_PTP_AP file for the AP Side (local)
USA_ALTUM_PTP_STA file for the Station Side (remote)
Load the config into each radio using the System>Backup>Flash Firmware page "Restore Backup", then choose the file from your desktop and click Upload archive.
CONFIG FILE SETTINGS:
AP Side has LAN IP of 192.168.1.1
STA Side has LAN IP of 192.168.1.2
PmP Mode has max range of 12 km set for ACK timeout
STA Channels are automatic so STA will lock to the AP Channel
AP Channel for USA configs is 5745 MHz
Units are set to 802.11AC mode 20/40/80 MHz channels
Units are set to WDS mode to allow tagged traffic to cross the link.
User needs to do the following after loading the config:
1) Reset the IP address, Subnet mask, and Gateway in the LAN configuration
2) For PTP mode only, set the PTP-MAC to the MAC address of the opposite radio unit.
3) Set Encryption if desired - Always use WPA2-PSK mode since not all other modes will work with 802.11ac.
