Slow Link Speeds

Issue: Customer was experiencing transfer speeds less than optimal on a segment of his network.

Conditions: Grounds ok, cable terminations ok, FR link solid, no crc errors, no packet loss

Solution: "We have found the slowness issues. Between our main switch stack and our router/firewall there was a duplex mismatch causing the slowness. We won’t need to rebuild the config or test the ports now."

Best Practice: Configure radio ports to "auto negotiate". Always bench-test your radios before deployment to make sure that you have a link.
