ApexPlus to GigaPlus Link

I have a special application question. I would like to use a GigaPlus on far end of a link and a ApexPlus on the close end. No need for the TDM ports. Can this be done?

  Absolutely, yes, you certainly can link an ApexPlus to GigaPlus as long as it is Ethernet only. The copper port on the ApexPlus maps to ge1 and the SFP to ge3 - the top two ports. The bottom ports on the GigaPlus won't map to anything on the ApexPlus unless smart mode is disabled on both (in which case you don't have port mapping).

  The firmware should be 3.0 on both. There is no special setup needed, just configure and install as normal.
