connecting to an SU m2400 reporting to the same ap
I am using 2.4 point to multipoint network in the field. I have several SU's connected to an AP. When I try and connect to a device behind a different SU on the same sub-net I get no response. set up is 3 SU's To a single AP. I can not ping or connect to any devices behind the different SU. However from the field I can connect to internet and my office. from my office I can connect to all SU's and the devices behind them. Any advice would help. thanks

See page 23 of the M2400S Manual, the SU to SU command.
SU to SU
This software switch (3) enables/disables the SU to SU feature. When SU to SU is turned on, multiple SUís within the same sector (meaning associated to that AP) can communicate with each other, provided they have the same SU2SU group number.
sw 3 [<on|off>] (default is off)
Example:
#>sw 3 on

Russell posted a follow up that this alone did not work, but here is the solution he found:
after building a network in my lab with the same results. this is the solution to the problem. on the switch inter face.
ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
ip helper-address 10.0.0.1
no ip redirects
ip local-proxy-arp
ip route-cache same-interface
ip ospf network point-to-point
end
thanks for your help and I hope this may be useful to you.
