P5830S-MU and P5830S-RU firmware updates

1)  Our P5830S-MU showsFirmware Version M 1p11H8100D04093001 Checksum 111EF9BE and the P5830S-RU showsFirmware Version R 1p11H0100D04093001 Checksum 44FB9835. Is this firmware current and if not how do we upgraded it?

2) For some unknown reason the Gateway is set for 192.168.16.0 not 192.168.16.1 which is the actual gateway address on both the MU and RU. Is there any reason this would have been done that you are aware of? Would faster Internet access be acheaved if the actual gateway is used in place of the all inclusive .0?

3) Loopback tests showed speeds of 9934 kbps and 9959 kbps, are these good speeds for this equipment?

  Answers:

  1) current firmware is 3.1

  2) would be better if set at actual .1 gateway address.

  3) rated for 10000 so these are good speeds.
